Home and Liège: A Bright Star in Our Liège Family Network

Welcome to Home et Liège, in the heart of Pézenas, where our love for the natural elegance of cork is woven from a fascinating family history and a deep connection with Portugal. Much more than just a shop, Home et Liège is the fruit of a human adventure that began with the discovery of a captivating material.

Our Story: From Portugal to Pézenas, A Family Saga About Cork

The story begins with a trip to Portugal, where a man was captivated by the originality and beauty of cork bags, particularly those from the brand Cork Design Lda, with whom we still collaborate to some extent today for bags and leather goods. This discovery marked the beginning of an entrepreneurial adventure. In 2007, this passionate individual ceased his business, and my mother took over with Créa Nature, initially located at the same current Home et Liège location, managing the company with passion and dedication from 2007 to 2023. It was during this period that we also began our collaboration with Viking Lda for our selection of cork tableware.

The entrepreneurial spirit and love of cork then spread throughout the family:

My sister established a charming boutique called " Miss Cork " in Saint Guilhem le Désert in 2012, thus sharing the magic of cork in another iconic location in the region.

My partner ( Mini Mode ) also opened her shop in Pézenas in 2016, at 18 Rue Triperie Vieille, specializing in cork shoes. You can discover her collection on her website .

My other sister ( Nature et Liège ) followed the adventure by opening a shop dedicated to cork in Anduze, in the Gard, in 2018.

Finally, my niece ( Casa Cortiça ), after offering cork products at markets in the Gard region, realized her project by opening her own shop in Uzès, also in the Gard, in 2019.

This rich family history testifies to our deep and lasting commitment to cork.

Our annual trips to Portugal are truly special. They allow us to meet our manufacturers, most of whom have become dear friends. It's a joy to discover their latest creations firsthand and to offer you surprising and original items.
